In 2024, while learning the ropes of Cinema 4D and 3D animation in general I decided to create a challenge that no one to my knowledge had ever done before: create and animate a character in 3D, every day for 30 days. Boy howdy was this tough! I ended up going about 40 days before fatigue set in but I did in fact learn A TON of stuff in that month.
It actually caught the attention of the social media manager for Maxon and led me to presenting the project at NAB East in NYC the following fall. Improving my craft over the course of the month was a great experience but getting a free trip to NYC after all that hard work was the icing on the cake.
